Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Anthony (ranked 7349 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ghost Dog (ranked 6831 p4p, 0 weight class). Ghost Dog has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Dusty Anthony!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ghost Dog!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dog drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Anthony on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Anthony sneaks out the side door and pushes Dog away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Anthony tries to sprawl but Dog drives through with a takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dog prevents Anthony from standing back up.
Anthony regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Dog.
Dog has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA London. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Anthony wants to stand up but Dog is controlling him.
Dog trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Anthony doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Anthony might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dog being controlled here momentarily.

Anthony pushes Dog off and scrambles back to his feet.
Dog looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Anthony clinches.

Anthony breaks from the clinch.
Anthony could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dog misses with a body shot
and Anthony counters with a three punch combo that has Dog backing up. Dog nods at Anthony to acknowledge the strikes.

Anthony has managed to clinch.

Anthony escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Anthony throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dog's head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Anthony. Dog does a little dance to reset his feet.

Dog clinches with his opponent.
Dog wants to break the clinch but can't.
Dog struggles to land a body shot inside as Anthony controls his hands.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dog tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Dog gets control of Anthony's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dog will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Dog trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Anthony trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anthony stands up over Dog, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Anthony in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Dog is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dog preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Anthony postures up and lands a big shot to Dog's brow.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dog is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Anthony misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Anthony is controlling Dog's trapped leg to prevent Dog from advancing to side control.
Anthony is trying to stand up here but Dog is controlling him well.

Anthony manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Anthony clinches with his opponent.

Anthony has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dog uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dog would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Anthony keeping moving, preventing Dog from controlling successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Anthony uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Dog gets a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Anthony drags the fight down to the ground.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Anthony manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Anthony is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dog pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Anthony uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Anthony pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Dog closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Anthony throws Dog to one side and escapes!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dusty Anthony dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Anthony throws a sloppy head kick and Dog moves out of range easily.

Dog clinches with his opponent.
Dog is looking to break free of the clinch but Anthony has double underhooks.

Dog pulls guard.
Anthony distracts Dog with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Dog looking for subs off his back but Anthony has passed one foot through into half guard.
Anthony trying to control from half guard but Dog is working away.
Dog is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dog is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Anthony not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Dog is looking to escape.
Anthony working Dog over with strikes.
Dog wants to control the action here but instead Anthony manages to pass to full mount!

Anthony has isolated one of Dog's arms. Dog looking to fight him off but Anthony twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dusty Anthony!
