I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Josh Morgan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan throws a front kick that sends Martinez stumbling back into the cage.
Morgan works Martinez 's body with a nice hook.

Morgan slips a jab and a cross from Martinez .
Morgan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Martinez on the side of the head.
Morgan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Martinez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Morgan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Martinez 's head backwards.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Morgan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Morgan lands a nice hook to Martinez 's body. Martinez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Martinez closes the distance and clinches up with Morgan, looking for a takedown. Martinez pushes Morgan against the cage but Morgan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Morgan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Martinez takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Martinez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
