The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clampett instigates a clinch.
Hendo is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Clampett prevents Hendo from breaking the clinch.
Clampett tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hendo smiles and moves away.
Clampett throws a sloppy head kick and Hendo moves out of range easily.

Clampett clinches up with Hendo and pushes him back against the cage.
Hendo avoiding damage as Clampett throws knees to the body.
Clampett is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hendo is defending well.

Clampett pulls guard successfully.
Hendo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Clampett is keeping the position for now.
Hendo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hendo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hendo wants to control but Clampett is keeping him busy.
Hendo in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Clampett is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Clampett throws a body kick that misses.
Good exchange - Hendo coming out on top.

Clampett with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hendo to score with a decent uppercut.
Clampett changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hendo tries to avoid it but Clampett manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hendo to the ground. Hendo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dan Hendo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jed Clampett.

It looks like Jed Clampett has been cut.
Clampett changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hendo tries to avoid it but Clampett manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hendo to the ground. Hendo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Clampett.
Hendo is looking to counter punch.

Hendo sends Clampett crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hendo is motioning to the referee to let Clampett up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Clampett is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hendo moves in close and cracks Clampett with a massive right hand! Clampett, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Hendo!
