The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bravo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Savea to the mat! Savea manages to get full guard.
Bravo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Savea works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Savea preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bravo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Bravo stopping the sweep attempt from Savea.
Bravo is pushing down on Savea's leg trying to pass to half guard. Savea is fighting to maintain full guard but Bravo has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bravo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Savea's head.
Bravo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bravo working his ground and pound in the gym.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Savea is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bravo scores with a couple of nice shots.

Bravo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Savea on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Savea tries to get out of the position.
