Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Malingo (ranked 1633 p4p, 166 weight class) and Johnny Kilmister (ranked 1521 p4p, 158 weight class). Malingo comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed - Sound of silence. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Kilmister!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Malingo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

My spies in Death Valley Training Facility inform me that Kilmister has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kilmister enables Malingo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kilmister manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eddie Malingo will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I would just about give that final round to Johnny Kilmister.
Well Kilmister has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
