Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Quinoa Smiff (ranked 3575 p4p, 385 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 3092 p4p, 336 weight class). Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jiu Jitsu by Smoke Serpent kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Royce Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Smiff tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.

Smiff is trying to break free.
Gracie looking to break Smiff's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Smiff remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gracie will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Smiff tries to roll but Gracie sticks to his back.
Gracie has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Smiff has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Smiff manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.

Smiff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Smiff is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gracie is just riding it out for now. Smiff eventually gives up the hold.

An out of breath Royce Gracie thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
