Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monte Zuma (ranked 975 p4p, 138 weight class) and Grzegorz Crayewski (ranked 969 p4p, 137 weight class). Monte Zuma had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crayewski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zuma ducks right into an uppercut from Crayewski.

and Zuma counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Grzegorz Crayewski has been cut.

Crayewski loads up on a big right hand but Zuma slips the punch.
Zuma attempts a counter takedown but Crayewski avoids it well and moves away.
Crayewski tries to bum rush Zuma with a series of wild strikes but Zuma uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Zuma changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Zuma ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Crayewski lands a glancing blow to the side of Zuma's head.

Zuma throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Crayewski ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
It seemed like Crayewski was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Zuma tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Crayewski tries a head kick but it misses.
Crayewski throws a left and a right that both miss
and Zuma counters with a nice leg kick.

Zuma gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Crayewski wants to control but Zuma postures up.

Zuma tries for a kimura but Crayewski is defending well.
Crayewski is not content to let Zuma control the position.
Crayewski tries to buck Zuma off but Zuma is having none of it.

Zuma looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Crayewski is looking for a sweep.

Zuma has an Americana. Crayewski didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Zuma is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Zuma hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

After the fight, Monte Zuma was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
