Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Vee (ranked 79 p4p, 6 weight class) and Gauthier Delsarte (ranked 73 p4p, 4 weight class). Vee comes to the cage accompanied by Da Mystery of Chessboxin by Wu-Tang Clan. The crowd seem to be enjoying Delsarte's choice of entrance music: Ah Non Cest Terrible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gauthier Delsarte!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vee looks to land a right hand but Delsarte moved out of range.
Vee throws a poor cross that misses
and Delsarte counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Brandon Vee has been cut.
Brandon Vee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vee misses with a hook.
Vee shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Delsarte eats them both and turns towards Vee to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Vee throws a shot from downtown. Delsarte moves away and avoids it.
A punch combination from Delsarte misses.
It looked like Vee was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Delsarte.
Vee connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Delsarte momentarily.
Vee works Delsarte's body with a nice hook.
Vee swings for the body but Delsarte moves out of range.
Vee throws a shot from downtown. Delsarte moves away and avoids it.
Vee pivots, looking for a leg kick but Delsarte is out of range and Vee settles back down.
Vee misses with a hook
and Delsarte counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Delsarte checks the leg kick nicely there.
Vee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Delsarte.
Vee fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Vee missing with a left hand there. Delsarte was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Delsarte throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vee misses with a left hand
and Delsarte counters with a nice uppercut.
Nice uppercut lands for Delsarte. That snapped Vee's head back.
Vee just misses with a punch to the body.
Vee scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Vee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Delsarte was well out of range. Poor timing from Vee.
A jab from Vee misses.
Vee swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Delsarte counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Delsarte lands a big head kick that sends Vee tumbling to the mat! Delsarte takes a step backwards and waves Vee back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Vee is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Delsarte moves in close and cracks Vee with a massive right hand! Vee, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Delsarte!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gauthier Delsarte!
Gauthier Delsarte seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Brandon Vee was interviewed post fight and said 'I didn't lose that fight in my mind. True victory is to give all of yourself, without regret. '.
