Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Ashton (ranked 1718 p4p, 229 weight class) and IL PO (ranked 16464 p4p, 627 weight class). Ashton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Zombie Nation. PO is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tai Chi Kickboxer. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
25 - 26 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Ashton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, IL PO!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PO throws a hook but Ashton avoids it easily.
A jab from Ashton finds it's way through PO's defenses.
PO blocks a head kick by Ashton.
Ashton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but PO was well out of range. Poor timing from Ashton.
PO only half commits to the counter leg kick.
PO looks to throw the jab but Ashton is out of range.
Ashton drops his hands momentarily and PO takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ashton is on the wrong end of a nice combination from PO.
PO fails to land with a series of punches.
PO dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ashton. That did some damage!
PO throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ashton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
PO throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ashton sees it coming and avoids it easily.
PO throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd cheers as Ashton lands an impressive looking overhand right. PO doesn't seem phased though.
PO looks to land a combination. Ashton sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ashton throws a jab when PO was well out of range.
PO looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
PO keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
PO connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ashton momentarily.
Ashton throws a shot to the body.
Crunch! Ashton slams his shin into PO's torso.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ashton dives in for a single leg takedown but PO sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
PO clobbers Ashton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ashton is rocked!
Ashton shoots in for a double leg but PO sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A little jabbing left from PO on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ashton connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ashton misses with a jab to the body
and PO counters with a three punch combo that has Ashton backing up. Ashton nods at PO to acknowledge the strikes.
Oh Ashton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ashton drops his hands momentarily and PO needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Ashton just on the top of the head. Ashton drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Ashton - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). IL PO!
A relieved looking IL PO thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
