Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aarni Immonen (ranked 2468 p4p, 277 weight class) and Royler Gracie (ranked 2523 p4p, 286 weight class). Gracie has chosen Olha a Explosão as his entrance music. Aarni Immonen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Royler Gracie's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie slips under a jab from Immonen.
Gracie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Immonen.
Gracie slaps away a takedown attempt from Immonen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Immonen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Immonen has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Gracie gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Gracie is looking for a sweep. Immonen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Immonen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gracie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Immonen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Yaw-Yan Ardigma. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Immonen is looking for a kimura but Gracie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Immonen to get the leverage.
Immonen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Immonen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Gracie manages to get to full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Immonen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Immonen is sitting in close to Gracie's body. Gracie has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Immonen is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Immonen is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Gracie.
