The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalama misses with a straight left.
Kalama missing with a left hand there. Espiga was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kalama takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kalama has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kalama there as he acknowledges the shot.

Kalama fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Espiga sprawls well initially but Kalama persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Espiga on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Espiga tries to get out of the position.

Kalama wants to work for an arm triangle but Espiga is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kalama looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Espiga's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kalama seems to be working for a kimura but Espiga defends the submission attempt.

Espiga knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kalama on the ground.
