The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Destroyer cracks a nice hook into Rogers's ribs.

The Destroyer forces Rogers back against the cage and clinches.

Rogers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The Destroyer scores with a takedown into Rogers's guard.
Rogers has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rogers lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Rogers working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of The Destroyer's head.
Rogers content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Rogers scoring with punches to the head and body.
Rogers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rogers lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Rogers thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The Destroyer is trying to keep Rogers in close.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rogers's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Rogers throws a big right hand that misses.

The Destroyer pushes Rogers off and gets back to his feet.
Joey The Destroyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Destroyer scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Rogers is rocked!

It looks like Landon Rogers has been cut.

Rogers gets tackled into the cage by The Destroyer. The Destroyer maintains the clinch.
Oh Rogers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The Destroyer breaks from the clinch.
Rogers fails with a takedown attempt.

The Destroyer closes the distance and clinches.
Rogers is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but The Destroyer is keeping busy.

A nice glancing elbow lands by The Destroyer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The Destroyer ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. The Destroyer no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Rogers trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The Destroyer has his foot on Rogers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rogers works his way back into a safe position though.

The Destroyer uses the cage to get back to his feet.

The Destroyer shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Rogers is on queer street and The Destroyer is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
