Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Williams (ranked 6439 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Cahill (ranked 5046 p4p, 0 weight class). Tim Cahill will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Williams as Cahill shoots in.
Williams looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Cahill shoots in looking for a takedown but Williams manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cahill's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Williams decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Williams with a flurry of punches that miss.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Cahill tries to score a power double leg takedown but Williams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cahill somewhat.

Cahill goes for a double leg but Williams avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Williams continues to drive forward.

Williams closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Cahill is fighting off a takedown attempt but Williams is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Cahill to the mat. Cahill regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Cahill wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Williams manages to pass to side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Horrible takedown attempt by Cahill or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams, which made it look bad.

and Cahill counters with a three punch combo that has Williams backing up. Williams nods at Cahill to acknowledge the strikes.

That was a close second round but I would say that Duke Williams will probably get the nod.
