Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Riley (ranked 5223 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francisco Duarte (ranked 5515 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Riley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Francisco Duarte!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Riley defends well and Duarte ends up having to push Riley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Duarte throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Riley blocks it with crossed arms.
Duarte tries to throw a body punch but Riley avoids it by throwing Duarte back against the cage.
Riley has Duarte pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Duarte manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Duarte escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Duarte throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Riley's waist but Riley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Duarte off to one side.
Duarte shoots in and bounces Riley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Riley is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Riley has picked Duarte up - he's going for a ride! Riley dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Duarte is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Riley pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Riley passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Duarte!
Duarte can't escape the position.
Riley lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Riley quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Riley but it's paid off an Duarte is forced to tap! Nice work by Riley.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jean Riley!
