The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marky lands a nice looking body shot.
Marky scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Marky misses with the combination.
Marky clobbers Sameer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Marky throws a body punch but Sameer moves out of range.
Marky throws a shot to the body.
Marky punishes Sameer's body with a nice straight punch.
Marky throws a series of punches but Sameer avoids them all with ease.
Sameer flicks out a counter leg kick but Marky steps away.
Marky cracks Sameer with an open hand slap.
Marky swings for the body but Sameer moves out of range.
Sameer is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Marky lands a nice hook to Sameer's body. Sameer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Marky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sameer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marky throws out the jab.
Marky is looking to wear down Sameer with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Marky looks to score with a jab to the body but Sameer is just out of range.
Sameer with the counter takedown but Marky avoids it easily.
Marky goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Marky throws a nice looking combination but Sameer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Sameer closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Marky's guard.
Sameer scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Marky wants to sweep here but Sameer controlling him for the moment.

Sameer connects with a couple of short punches.
Sameer distracts Marky with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sameer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sameer's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Sameer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sameer postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
