Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Waleed Dheeb (ranked 2204 p4p, 264 weight class) and Monkhbat Togoruutan (ranked 4821 p4p, 490 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Togoruutan.

Togoruutan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dheeb!

Togoruutan swings around for an armbar but Dheeb sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Togoruutan's guard.

Togoruutan isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dheeb stacks Togoruutan on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dheeb!
Togoruutan tries to improve position but can't.
Dheeb works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Togoruutan takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Togoruutan tries to bench press Dheeb off him but Dheeb keeps the position.
Dheeb has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Togoruutan takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Togoruutan is looking to regain half guard here but Dheeb keeps moving and retains side control.
Dheeb has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Togoruutan!
Togoruutan is desperately trying to improve his position but Dheeb has a good base and remains in mount.
Dheeb pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Dheeb tries to control but Togoruutan wriggling away.
Dheeb lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Togoruutan tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Togoruutan can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dheeb with a couple of short strikes.
Togoruutan is bucking up trying to escape but Dheeb cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

It looks like Monkhbat Togoruutan has been cut.
Togoruutan working to try and regain half guard.
Dheeb has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Togoruutan's face.
Togoruutan felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Dheeb loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Togoruutan scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Dheeb land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Dheeb stands and salutes the crowd.
