And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Frank!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kenneth rushes Frank and presses him up against the cage.

Frank's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Frank jabs at Kenneth's body.
A punch combination from Frank misses.
As Frank looks to move away, Kenneth throws a big counter combo but Frank just gets out of the way.
Kenneth fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kenneth shoots and misses
and Kenneth takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Frank lands a two punch combo.
Kenneth misses with a takedown attempt
and Frank makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Allen Kenneth. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Frank lands a nice shot that snaps Kenneth's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Frank counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kenneth thinking.
Kenneth shoots in but Frank avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kenneth throws a right hand that Frank ducks under and follows up with a left that Frank also avoids with ease.
Frank unleashes a big counter combination but Kenneth bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Kenneth avoids a punch combination nicely.

Frank fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kenneth, pushing him back against the cage.
Frank avoids a wild elbow strike from Kenneth.
Kenneth fails to pull guard.
A short left from Frank.

Kenneth's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Frank counters with a nice uppercut.
Kenneth is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Frank lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Frank.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kenneth has his takedown stuffed
and Frank counters with a left and a right that stings Kenneth.
Kenneth gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Frank counters with a nice body shot.

Frank closes the distance and clinches.
Frank lands a right hand.

Frank breaks the clinch.
Nick Frank is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Frank circles away from the clinch attempt
and Frank counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's five minutes gone in the round.
Kenneth with a lazy takedown attempt
and Frank connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kenneth throws a combination that misses
and Frank counters with a stiff right hand.

Frank takes the fight into the clinch.
A short uppercut from Frank.
A short right from Frank.

Frank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Frank is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kenneth rather than just go for the knockout.

Frank clinches up against the cage.

Frank breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kenneth tries to clinch up
enabling Frank to counter with a crisp jab.

That's six minutes gone in the round.
Frank avoids a punch combination nicely.
Frank tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kenneth swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kenneth shoots and misses
and Frank counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kenneth takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Frank's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Frank duly obliges.
Kenneth tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling Frank to counter with a crisp jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Frank, as that shot connected.
Frank jabs Kenneth to the body, keeping him at a distance.

That's seven minutes gone in the round.
Frank tests Kenneth's chin there with a solid looking shot.


Kenneth is rocked!
Kenneth gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Frank to counter with a crisp jab.
Oh Kenneth is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kenneth fails with the takedown
and Frank scores with a counter punch that sends Kenneth to the canvas! Frank smells blood - he's punishing Kenneth with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kenneth has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Frank!
