The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gardener wriggles free and stands up.

That was a close round but I would say that Bryan Holloway will probably get the nod.

Gardener stalks Holloway and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Holloway's face. Holloway staggers backwards, shaken.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gardener enables Holloway to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gardener manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Gardener is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Holloway dives into side control.

Franklin Gardener seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gardener sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bryan Holloway will probably get the nod.
