Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Ngoss (ranked 3097 p4p, 369 weight class) and Ben Cox (ranked 2839 p4p, 340 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cox shoots in and bounces Ngoss off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Cox has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Temp Spar Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Ngoss working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cox doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cox manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Cox is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ngoss on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ngoss tries to get out of the position.
Cox pushes down on Ngoss's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ngoss definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ngoss is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Cox has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ngoss defend it? Cox steps over the head and cranks it - Ngoss is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Cox!
