Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Flying Almighty Askren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Twistan Breakum!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Askren closes the distance and clinches.

Askren manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Breakum landing some decent shots from guard.
Askren tries to strike from the bottom.
Breakum slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Askren.
Askren tries to get to full guard but Breakum has control of the leg.

Askren is defending against the submission attempts here by Breakum.

Breakum is working for a kimura but Askren is defending it quite comfortably.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Askren tries to roll over but Breakum keeps him under control.
Askren might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Breakum wants to lay and pray for a moment but Askren keeps working.
Breakum is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Askren flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Breakum is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Askren is working to get back to half guard.
Breakum blocks Askren's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Askren defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Breakum.
Askren is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Breakum throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Askren is trying to escape the mount.
Breakum controlling the position easily from mount.
Breakum can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Askren is looking to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Askren is looking to improve his position but Breakum isn't that keen on the idea.
Askren tries to hold on but Breakum postures up.

Breakum looking for a guillotine from mount but Askren is having none of it.

Breakum swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Twistan Breakum!
Twistan Breakum tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
