Rekis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is AC/DC - Thunderstruck. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Pfeifer!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rekis misses with a takedown
and Pfeifer counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Pfeifer has managed to clinch.

Pfeifer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rekis shoots in but Pfeifer avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Rekis rushes Pfeifer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Pfeifer has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Rekis is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Pfeifer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pfeifer throws a series of punches but Rekis avoids them all with ease.
Rekis dives in for a single leg takedown but Pfeifer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

It seemed like Pfeifer was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Pfeifer counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pfeifer connects with a leg kick. Rekis looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Pfeifer lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Rekis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pfeifer walks away with a smile on his face. Rekis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pfeifer lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Rekis shoots in and drives through. Pfeifer sprawls well.
Ricardo Pfeifer seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Pfeifer works Rekis's body with a nice hook.
Pfeifer bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Pfeifer works Rekis's body with a nice hook.
Pfeifer throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rekis's head.
Pfeifer throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Rekis stumbling backwards into the cage! Rekis bounces back off the cage towards Pfeifer, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Pfeifer lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Pfeifer celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ricardo Pfeifer!
John Rekis was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll be back!!!'.
