Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darren Tellkins (ranked 2162 p4p, 255 weight class) and Dallas Winston (ranked 2684 p4p, 309 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tellkins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rae Sremmurd - Powerglide ft. Juicy J. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Winston shoots in and bounces Tellkins off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Tellkins manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Tellkins avoiding damage.
Still in the clinch, Tellkins scores with a nice short uppercut.
Tellkins working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Winston tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Tellkins misses with a knee strike.
Tellkins has a couple of punches blocked by Winston.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Winston blocks an uppercut.
Tellkins is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Winston goes for a takedown attempt but Tellkins pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Tellkins gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Winston won't allow Tellkins to sweep him here.

Winston thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Winston drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Winston seems to have locked his on tight now - Tellkins screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Winston, as he picks up the win!
