Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Siegel (ranked 2843 p4p, 260 weight class) and Jean Labosky (ranked 2263 p4p, 211 weight class). Siegel comes to the cage accompanied by Coolio ft. L.V - Gangsta's Paradise. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjamin Siegel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 31 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labosky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Siegel paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Labosky closes the distance and pushes Siegel back into the cage.
Siegel tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Siegel lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Siegel misses with a hook to the ribs.
Siegel scores with a shot to the side of Labosky's head.
Siegel struggles to land a body shot inside as Labosky controls his hands.

Labosky fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Siegel.

Siegel has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Benjamin Siegel.
Well Siegel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
