The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cruzeiro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Overlord throws out the jab.

Cruzeiro lands a big right hand that sends Overlord crashing to the mat! Cruzeiro stays standing though and waves Overlord back to his feet!

Overlord doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cruzeiro is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Overlord rather than just go for the knockout.
Cruzeiro lands a front kick.
Cruzeiro feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Overlord sprawling to the canvas! Overlord rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cruzeiro finish him?!
Gentlemen Overlord seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Cruzeiro engages and cracks Overlord with a massive lead left hook - Overlord tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Cruzeiro is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Julio Cruzeiro!
A relieved looking Julio Cruzeiro thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
