Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Burgundy (ranked 653 p4p, 103 weight class) and Leeland Lillard (ranked 1068 p4p, 170 weight class). Leeland Lillard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leeland Lillard!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lillard throws a leg kick which misses Burgundy's front leg but catches the back leg as Burgundy tries to avoid it.
Burgundy lands a nice shot to the body.
Burgundy lands an overhand right.
Burgundy misses with a two punch combination.
Burgundy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Burgundy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lillard's head backwards.
Lillard slips under a jab.
Lillard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Burgundy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lillard takes one to the chin there.
Lillard doesn't manage to clinch there - Burgundy circles away.
Burgundy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lillard moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lillard closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Burgundy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Burgundy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lillard backwards.
Burgundy breaks from the clinch.
Burgundy just misses with a punch to the body.

Burgundy moves into range and connects with a jab.
Lillard throws a right hand that Burgundy ducks under and follows up with a left that Burgundy also avoids with ease.
Burgundy is looking for a counter combo.
Burgundy throws a big shot that misses.
Lillard lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lillard rushes Burgundy and presses him up against the cage.
Lillard blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Burgundy misses with the head strike.
Lillard is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Lillard is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Burgundy is trying to break free.
Burgundy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lillard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Burgundy scores with a jab to the body.
Lillard scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Lillard throws a body punch but Burgundy moves out of range.
Lillard lands a jab to the head.
Burgundy throws the left hand but Lillard avoids the punch easily.
Burgundy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Burgundy lands a big right hand that sends Lillard crashing to the mat! Burgundy stays standing though and waves Lillard back to his feet!
Lillard is rocked!
Lillard circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Burgundy. Lillard falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Burgundy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ron Burgundy!
