Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Low!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucio Francisco Carmo!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Low tries to clinch there but Carmo circles away.
Carmo throws a combination. Low tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


It looks like Joe Low has been cut.
Joe Low seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Low takes the fight into the clinch.

Carmo wants the takedown. Low is fighting it off but Carmo persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Low's guard against the cage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carmo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Carmo prevents Low from getting back to his feet.
Carmo lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Carmo drops back looking for a leg! Low is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Low manages to kick Carmo off! Carmo jumps back into Low's guard.
Carmo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Low wants to hit a switch here but Carmo passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Low there!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carmo thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carmo lands a nice shot to the head.
Low is wriggling around trying to escape.
Carmo unloads with some shots from mount but Low bucks and avoids them well.
Carmo lands a big shot there that rocks Low but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Carmo fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Carmo is in the full mount, landing strikes.


Low is rocked!
Carmo trying to control but Low is having none of it.
Low trying desperately to get to his feet.
Carmo content just to control the position here.

Carmo is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Carmo!
