Abdullah has chosen East Coat as his entrance music. Dwayne Herring has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdullah tries to keep at a distance but Herring has taken the fight into the clinch.
Herring has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Abdullah uses from the top position.
Abdullah loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Abdullah postures up in Herring's guard and throws a big left but Herring blocks it.
Herring keeping moving, preventing Abdullah from controlling successfully.
Abdullah got a little sloppy there for a moment and Herring has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Abdullah has managed to get both his arms back between Herring's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Herring closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Abdullah is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

A close round but Lucifer Abdullah will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Abdullah shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Herring sprawls well. Herring wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Abdullah gets slowly back to his feet.

Abdullah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Herring tries to avoid it but Abdullah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Herring to the ground. Herring escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Herring tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Abdullah smiles and moves away.
Herring pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Abdullah.
Abdullah clinches up with Herring and pushes him back against the cage.

Herring jumps guard but Abdullah stands there with Herring around his waist. Herring gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Herring pushes Abdullah back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Herring misses with a short punch on the inside.
Herring scores with a knee to the head.
Herring fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Abdullah is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Herring can't fight it off and eventually Abdullah manages to take the fight to the floor. Herring looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Herring kicks Abdullah off and gets to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Abdullah closes the distance and clinches up with Herring, looking for a takedown. Abdullah pushes Herring against the cage but Herring circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Herring tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Abdullah was well out of range. Poor timing from Herring.

Let's hope that Abdullah has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
