The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyer tries to clinch up but Entreri circles away and keeps his distance.
Entreri misses with a looping right.
Entreri just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMeyer.
Meyer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Entreri avoids it really well and circles away.

Meyer pushes Entreri up against the cage in a clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Meyer has been working on his balance at The Forge, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Entreri.
Meyer unloads a knee to the mid-section. Entreri lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Entreri's coach down at The Forge was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Entreri's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Meyer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Entreri quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Meyer has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Entreri celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
