Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pave Hunt (ranked 3710 p4p, 428 weight class) and Buzz Meeks (ranked 2296 p4p, 296 weight class). Hunt comes to the ring accompanied by Limp Bizkit - Eat You Alive. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt slips a straight right by Meeks.
Hunt takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hunt circles away from the clinch attempt
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Meeks tries to clinch but Hunt moves out of range.
Hunt tests Meeks's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Meeks avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hunt checks a low kick from Meeks.
Meeks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Meeks takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A head kick misses from Meeks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A thudding body kick lands there by Hunt!
Hunt thuds his right hand into Meeks's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hunt lands with an uppercut that bounces Meeks off the ropes and back into range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hunt moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hunt looks to throw the jab but Meeks is out of range.
Hunt throws a quick head kick that knocks Meeks silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Hunt is up on the ropes, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Pave Hunt!
