Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Todd (ranked 3989 p4p, 467 weight class) and Leroy Jenkins (ranked 3648 p4p, 444 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins throws a jab when Todd was well out of range.
Leroy Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Todd shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jenkins tries to bum rush Todd with a series of wild strikes but Todd uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Todd tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jenkins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Todd somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Todd. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown attempt by Todd or perhaps it was just good defense by Jenkins, which made it look bad.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Todd dives in for a single leg takedown but Jenkins sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Jenkins lands a hook that stumbles Todd back into the cage. Jenkins follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Todd to the canvas! Jenkins pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Todd has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
