Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Ezequiel Bentley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Owen Webb!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Francis DeMontford and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webb fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Webb, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bentley is looking to counter punch.
Bentley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Webb throws out the jab.
Sloppy strikes from Webb. Those never looked like landing.

and Bentley counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bentley.
Bentley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Webb feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Webb throws a hook to the side of Bentley's head but Bentley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Webb gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bentley tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Webb wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Webb tries to score with some ground and pound. Bentley controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Webb decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bentley to his feet.

Webb with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bentley to score with a decent uppercut.
Webb will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Webb closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bentley did well to prevent Webb getting side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ezequiel Bentley will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Bentley drops back, looking for a kneebar! Webb looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Webb looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Webb!

I think Webb has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
