Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kreepee Krawlee (ranked 3230 p4p, 154 weight class) and Ariel Schroder (ranked 2873 p4p, 143 weight class). Kreepee Krawlee could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ariel Schroder's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kreepee Krawlee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ariel Schroder!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Schroder is defended easily by Krawlee.
Krawlee attempts a counter takedown but Schroder avoids it well and moves away.
Schroder fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Krawlee avoids it really well and circles away.
Krawlee changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Schroder shoots for a takedown but Krawlee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kreepee Krawlee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ariel Schroder.
Krawlee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Schroder's waist but Schroder gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Krawlee off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Krawlee closes the distance and clinches.

Krawlee throws his legs up looking for a submission but Schroder uses it to pass to side control.
Krawlee is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Schroder is looking to take a break and control but Krawlee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Krawlee is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at JAG Battle Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Schroder not allowing Krawlee to control his hands.
Krawlee tries to break free.
Schroder thows a strike but Krawlee uses the opportunity to reverse the position! Great move by Krawlee as he ends up in Schroder 's guard!

Schroder utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Krawlee passes into half guard.

Krawlee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Schroder wants to get back to full guard but Krawlee has passed into side control.

Krawlee is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Schroder is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Schroder gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kreepee Krawlee dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Krawlee drives through and clinches with Schroder against the cage.
Krawlee has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Schroder after a bit of a struggle.

Krawlee drags the fight down to the ground.
Krawlee wants to control but Schroder passes easily into half guard.
Krawlee wants to control but Schroder is keeping busy.
Schroder trying to mount his opponent but Krawlee defends it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schroder throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Krawlee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Schroder is working away from the top position though.
Krawlee tries to roll over but Schroder keeps him under control.
Schroder frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Krawlee is in all sorts of trouble here.

Krawlee holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Schroder tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kreepee Krawlee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Krawlee is looking to get to half guard.
Krawlee slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Krawlee moves into full guard.
Schroder trying to control the position from guard on top but Krawlee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Schroder slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've been informed that Schroder has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Schroder missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Krawlee can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Schroder controls the pace.
Krawlee is striking off his back. Schroder thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Krawlee desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Krawlee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Schroder can do to turn this around?

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Schroder misses with a takedown attempt

and Krawlee counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Krawlee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Krawlee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Schroder manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Krawlee has Schroder in his guard.

Schroder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krawlee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Ariel Schroder will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Krawlee postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Krawlee tries for a kimura but Schroder is defending well.
Schroder prevents Krawlee from improving position.
Schroder parries the strikes from Krawlee easily there. Krawlee is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Schroder to escape.

Krawlee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Schroder knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Schroder is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Schroder wants to control but Krawlee postures up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Schroder fails to land with a series of punches.

Schroder fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Krawlee manages to avoid it.
Schroder fails to land the takedown.

Krawlee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Krawlee is trying to pull guard but Schroder has him pressed against the cage.

Krawlee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Krawlee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Schroder.
As Schroder tries to get set, Krawlee tries to push him back and clinch up but Schroder manages to avoid the attempt.
Krawlee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Krawlee drops down looking for a counter takedown but Schroder sprawls and moves away.
Ariel Schroder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schroder shoots in but Krawlee avoids the takedown attempt easily.

No luck for Schroder with that takedown attempt.
Kreepee Krawlee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ariel Schroder.
Schroder shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Krawlee defends it nicely.

Krawlee closes the distance and clinches.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kreepee Krawlee showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Krawlee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
