Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mbawa Untempko (ranked 5911 p4p, 587 weight class) and Bob Robertson (ranked 7213 p4p, 639 weight class). Mbawa Untempko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mbawa Untempko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Untempko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Robertson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Untempko moves into range and clinches up with Robertson.
Robertson content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Untempko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robertson's waist but Robertson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Untempko off to one side.

Robertson lands with an uppercut that bounces Untempko off the cage and back into range.

and Robertson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Despite the aggression on Robertson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Robertson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Untempko. That did some damage!

and Robertson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Robertson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

It seemed like Robertson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mbawa Untempko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Robertson was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Robertson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Robertson manages to end up in side control.
Untempko takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robertson cracks Untempko with a big right hand but Untempko just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Bob Robertson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Robertson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Untempko to his feet.

Well Robertson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
