Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Augustine Tupper (ranked 4841 p4p, 210 weight class) and Paulie Greene (ranked 1938 p4p, 101 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tupper might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Can't Stop: Red Hot Chili Peppers. Paulie Greene has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Augustine Tupper's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Augustine Tupper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paulie Greene!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ben Hemmingworth and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tupper fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Greene to the ground. Tupper is now in Greene's guard.
Tupper is stalling in the full guard.
Greene pulls Tupper in close to prevent any damage.
Let's hope that Greene has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Tupper tries to free his leg and advance position but Greene is retaining full guard.
Greene keeping moving, preventing Tupper from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tupper throws a big right hand that misses.
Greene can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tupper controls the pace.

Tupper postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Greene is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tupper, into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tupper has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Greene can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Greene avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Tupper has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Greene can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tupper wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Greene is now in half guard.

Tupper trying his best to control but Greene has mounted him.

Tupper misses with a low kick.

Tupper swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Paulie Greene is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tupper fails to land the takedown.

Tupper fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Greene has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A nice inside leg kick there by Greene. That's going to slow Tupper down.
Tupper's jab looks to have found its range, popping Greene under the eye.
Greene looks to throw a body kick

Tupper gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Greene.
Greene missing with a left hand there. Tupper was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Greene tries to work over Tupper's front leg with a kick but Tupper checks it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tupper shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Greene sprawls well. Greene wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tupper gets slowly back to his feet.
Greene lunges at Tupper with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tupper's hand.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tupper takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Greene fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tupper has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Greene moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and Tupper counters with a nice double leg into side control. Greene won't be happy with that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paulie Greene dominated that round.

Tupper shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Tupper looking to sit in guard and control but Greene gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Tupper isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Greene stacks Tupper on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Greene!

Greene is pushing Tupper's head away, looking to escape. Tupper manages to hold on to the position though.

Greene is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Tupper is working for a kimura but Greene is defending it quite comfortably.
Tupper looks to land a strike but Greene avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Tupper slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Greene wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Greene ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Tupper fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tupper looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Greene scoring well with a low kick there.
Greene is looking to slow Tupper down with leg kicks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tupper shoots in for a takedown but Greene shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Tupper ducks under a wild hook from Greene.
Paulie Greene seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Paulie Greene showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Tupper shoots for a double leg takedown but Greene sprawls well. He's pushed Tupper's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tupper takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Greene throws a sloppy head kick and Tupper moves out of range easily.

Greene lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Greene throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Greene lands with a cross.
Tupper checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Tupper cracks Greene with a right hand to the side of the head.
Tupper looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tupper tries to score with some ground and pound. Greene controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tupper works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Paulie Greene is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Greene turns into Tupper and is now in his guard.

Tupper has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Greene is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tupper.

Greene decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Greene takes a kick to the side of the head.
Greene thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Tupper if he has to take too many more of those.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Greene.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Greene looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Paulie Greene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tupper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Greene tries to avoid it but Tupper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Greene to the ground. Greene escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Greene is looking to score with low kicks.
Greene defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tupper.

Tupper throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Greene displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tupper throws out the jab.
Tupper throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Greene sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tupper on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Paulie Greene.
I've got Greene winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
