The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burgundy has managed to clinch.
Burgundy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Man.
Burgundy prevents Man from breaking the clinch.
Burgundy tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Man avoids it.

Burgundy breaks from the clinch.

Burgundy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Burgundy is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Man has managed to free his arm - good work.
Burgundy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Man on the ground.
Burgundy thows a huge punch but Man dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burgundy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Man's head.
Burgundy wants to control but Man is keeping him busy.
Burgundy is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Burgundy stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Man misses with a combination
and Burgundy counters with a nice uppercut.
Man goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Burgundy has a takedown stuffed.
Ash Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burgundy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Man looks to land a combination but Burgundy avoids it well.
Man throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sloppy strikes from Man. Those never looked like landing.

Burgundy gets a clinch.

Burgundy manages to break the clinch.
Man fails to land with a series of punches.

Burgundy avoids a punch combination nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Burgundy moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Burgundy throws a leg kick
and Burgundy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Burgundy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Man sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Burgundy somewhat.

Burgundy scores with a jab. Man acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Burgundy forces Man back against the cage and clinches.
Burgundy goes for a takedown attempt but Man pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Burgundy lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Burgundy is breathing heavily.

Man lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Burgundy closes the distance and clinches.

Burgundy has Man pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Burgundy pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Man tumbling to the mat - Burgundy dives into Man's guard.

Man has his feet on Burgundy's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Burgundy takes the fight into the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Man lands a right hand.
Man lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Man lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Burgundy is looking for a takedown.

A nice right hand lands inside from Man.
Burgundy is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Man has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Burgundy seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Man can turn it around.

Burgundy pulls guard.
Man cracks Burgundy with a solid left hand.
Man keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Burgundy's head.
Man pushes down on Burgundy's leg and manages to get into half guard.
It looks like Man is going to stand back up.
Man working over Burgundy with some ground and pound. Burgundy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Man maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Burgundy could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Man has cracked it and Burgundy is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Man!
