Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kareem Dennis (ranked 2698 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Wright (ranked 21582 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright has chosen Warped Mind as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Wright!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dennis lands an overhand right.
It looks like Alex Wright has been cut.
A cross from Dennis lands.
Wright gets caught flat footed, as Dennis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dennis is stalling in the full guard.
Dennis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wright swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dennis 's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Dennis 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Dennis wants to pass the guard but Wright is keeping the position.
Dennis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dennis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Dennis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Dennis stands and throws Wright's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dennis tries to move into full mount but can't pass Wright's legs.
Dennis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wright has escaped the position, nice work there.
Dennis looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Dennis misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dennis controls the position from side control.
Dennis tries to advance to mount but Wright denies him.
Dennis is trying to get an arm triangle but Wright is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dennis is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Wright looks calm but he's in trouble here. Dennis gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Wright is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Dennis lets go of the hold and Wright can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kareem Dennis !
Kareem Dennis decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Alex Wright spoke after the fight, saying 'When I sign a contract, I really want to give 180%. And if I can't give that, it's just not fair to the promotion and it's not fair to the fans and it's not fair to myself'.
