The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanny looks to clinch
and Takemura counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Takemura lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hanny moves to clinch but Takemura breaks away
and Takemura counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hanny walks into a stiff left hand from Takemura.
A decent looking cross lands there for Takemura.
Hanny shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hanny tries to clinch up
and Takemura counters with a straight right hand.
Hanny darts in trying to clinch
and Takemura counters with a stiff right hand.

Hanny is rocked!
Takemura connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hanny is still on wobbly legs! Can Takemura finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takemura circles away from the clinch attempt
and Takemura counters with a straight right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hanny wants to clinch
and Takemura counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Hanny off his feet! Hanny crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Hanny isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Takemura screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Ryu Takemura!
Ryu Takemura looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I'd kill him if the referee let me..'.
