A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crute accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Garcia walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Crute shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Crute slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Crute lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Bob Crute!
During a confident post fight interview, Bob Crute thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
