Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Azrell Bryn Makar (ranked 5499 p4p, 531 weight class) and Aylin Shah (ranked 5622 p4p, 536 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shah scores with a leg kick.
Shah throws a nice looking combination but Bryn Makar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Shah enables Bryn Makar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shah manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Bryn Makar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shah swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Shah utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Bryn Makar drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Shah manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bryn Makar has Shah in his guard.

Shah tries to stand but Bryn Makar is controlling from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bryn Makar tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bryn Makar has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Bryn Makar throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Shah wants to stand but Bryn Makar has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Bryn Makar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Shah controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bryn Makar wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Bryn Makar wants to sweep but no luck.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bryn Makar seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Bryn Makar throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Shah cracks Bryn Makar with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Shah drops Bryn Makar with a beautiful combination! Bryn Makar stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Shah is looking for the KO!

Shah dances in with a quick combination. Bryn Makar is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Shah snaps Bryn Makar's head back. Bryn Makar stumbles backwards against the cage. Shah steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Bryn Makar's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Bryn Makar just didn't come prepared.
