Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Cruz (ranked 2921 p4p, 117 weight class) and Okino Naruhiko (ranked 1816 p4p, 73 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kyle Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Okino Naruhiko!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Naruhiko sprawls well. Naruhiko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cruz gets slowly back to his feet.

Naruhiko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cruz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Naruhiko fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kyle Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cruz dives in and grabs Naruhiko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Naruhiko pushes down on Cruz's head and hops out.
