The crowd seem to be enjoying Maybetter's choice of entrance music: Don't Stop The Funk. Vladimir Rurik has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maybetter throws a body punch but Rurik moves out of range.
Rurik is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Vladimir Rurik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maybetter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rurik momentarily.
The crowd cheers as Rurik lands an impressive looking overhand right. Maybetter doesn't seem phased though.

Rurik throws an overhand right that lands on Maybetter's shoulder, as Maybetter tries to avoid the shot.
Rurik throws a series of punches but Maybetter avoids them all with ease.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rurik enables Maybetter to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rurik manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rurik is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Maybetter.

That's time! Rurik's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
