Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tracy Minaj (ranked 1619 p4p, 204 weight class) and Xtreme Islander (ranked 1411 p4p, 179 weight class). Islander comes into a darkened arena with his song building. You're Going Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Xtreme Islander has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minaj dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Islander creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Islander has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Islander has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Minaj is working away from the top position though.
