Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Gabriel Arges (ranked 23310 p4p, 112 weight class) and Alex Cowboy (ranked 6857 p4p, 218 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Alex Cowboy!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Arges shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cowboy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arges is fighting to break Cowboy's control of his arms but Cowboy is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Cowboy sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Arges looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Cowboy has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

You can see the frustration on Cowboy's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
