Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rhett Dunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cameron Blair!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Bruno Hogan and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blair rushes Dunn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Blair breaks the clinch.

Blair changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dunn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Blair working away.
Dunn tries to improve position but can't.
Dunn can't do much from the bottom here.

Blair stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Blair rushes Dunn and presses him up against the cage.
Dunn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Blair postures up.

Blair slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Dunn controls Blair momentarily but Blair frees himself.
Blair is looking to pass into half guard but Dunn pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Dunn is in guard.

Dunn would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Blair has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Dunn off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Blair drives through with a takedown into Dunn's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dunn doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Dunn has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Dunn won't allow Blair to pass to mount.
Blair slips a nice elbow through Dunn's hands, connecting with Dunn's forehead.
Dunn wants to control but Blair is keeping busy.
Blair is looking to take a break and control but Dunn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dunn is trying to get back to full guard.
Dunn keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Blair is looking for a kimura but Dunn is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Blair to get the leverage.
Dunn is trying to maintain the position but Blair is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Blair has managed to clinch.
Dunn drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Blair gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Blair has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dunn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Blair fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dunn is looking to clinch but Blair is avoiding it.

Blair turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Blair manages to end up in side control.

Cameron Blair showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Blair pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dunn throws a quick counter kick to the body but Blair avoids it.

Dunn moves into the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Blair takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Blair gets control of Dunn's arms and successfully pulls guard. Blair will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Dunn connects with a couple of short punches.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dunn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Blair is proving hard to escape from.
Cameron Blair has got the better of the ground game so far.

Dunn trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Blair pulls Dunn in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Blair throws a head kick but Dunn moves out of range.
It appears Dunn was looking to counter with a kick there.

Blair gets a double leg takedown into Dunn's guard.
Dunn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Blair's guard.

Dunn thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Dunn throws an elbow but Blair slips to the side and avoids it well.
Blair is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Dunn in side control, throwing shots but Blair defends.

Blair managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Dunn.

Dunn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Blair manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Blair seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dunn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Dunn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Blair is working away from the top position though.
Blair is keen to just control but Dunn is a slippery customer.
Blair lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Blair is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Blair tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Dunn.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Cameron Blair comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Blair has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
