Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Murley (ranked 1411 p4p, 201 weight class) and Ture Torped (ranked 870 p4p, 125 weight class). Murley comes to the cage accompanied by Rage Against The Machine | Bulls On Parade. Torped is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Das boot - Movie soundtrack. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ture Torped!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murley looks to land a combination. Torped sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Murley catches Torped with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Torped keeps the fight on the outside.

Murley clinches with his opponent.

A hook to the body from Murley.
Torped tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Torped gets through Murley's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Murley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Torped manages to get himself to full guard.

Murley throws a hook to the side of Torped's head but Torped sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Torped has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

and Torped counters with a straight right hand.
Murley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Torped.
Murley just misses with a punch to the body.
Murley takes a swing at Torped's ribcage but misses.
Murley scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A nice side step and Torped releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Torped doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Murley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Torped.
