The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wakamatsu fails with the takedown.
Durnagoz blocks a head kick by Wakamatsu.

Durnagoz gets a double leg takedown into Wakamatsu's guard.
Durnagoz trying to control the position from guard on top but Wakamatsu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Durnagoz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Durnagoz gets to his feet. Wakamatsu looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Wakamatsu moves to clinch but Durnagoz breaks away

and Durnagoz counters with a single leg into guard. Wakamatsu didn't expect that.
Wakamatsu is breathing heavily.
Durnagoz stopping the sweep attempt from Wakamatsu.
Wakamatsu striking off his back but it's not causing Durnagoz any problems.

Wakamatsu is working an open guard so Durnagoz takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Durnagoz throws a series of punches but Wakamatsu moves out of range.

Durnagoz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Durnagoz in side control lands a decent elbow.
Durnagoz is putting a hurting on Wakamatsu here, landing some big shots from side control.
Wakamatsu is looking to reverse the position.
Durnagoz is staying tight to Wakamatsu's torso, preventing him from escaping.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Durnagoz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
