PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harald Hulken (ranked 7467 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Lock (ranked 21305 p4p, 0 weight class). Hulken comes into the arena with Ini Kamoze - Here Comes the Hotstepper blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Lock!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lock looks for a takedown but Hulken sprawls well.
Lock takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hulken looks to land a left hand but Lock moved out of range nicely.

and Hulken counters with a beautiful punch that sends Lock to the canvas!


It looks like Ryan Lock has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've been hearing good reports from Hulken's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Hulken throws an overhand right that has Lock reeling! Hulken follows up with more punches and Lock is out cold! This one is all over!
