The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen works Kuuppa's body with a nice hook.

Kuuppa moves into the clinch.

Kuuppa gets through Nguyen's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Dwight Nguyen has been cut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuuppa lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Nguyen tries to circle away but Kuuppa has him pinned against the cage.
Kuuppa has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Nguyen seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Kuuppa can turn it around.
