Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Volkov (ranked 3711 p4p, 165 weight class) and Tom Flyboy (ranked 5749 p4p, 219 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Volkov.
It looks like Tom Flyboy has been cut.
Flyboy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Volkov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Volkov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Volkov misses with a two punch combination.
Volkov connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Flyboy fails with the takedown
and Volkov rattles Flyboy with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Flyboy tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Volkov dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Flyboy stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Alexei Volkov!
