Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Ostrowski (ranked 3171 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Henderson (ranked 4110 p4p, 0 weight class). Ostrowski comes into the arena with PC Park - Klatka blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Henderson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ostrowski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Henderson scrambles back to his feet.

A nice inside leg kick there by Ostrowski. That's going to slow Henderson down.
Ostrowski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Henderson sprawls well. Henderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ostrowski gets slowly back to his feet.
Henderson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Ostrowski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Henderson.

Henderson's coach down at Mello MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Henderson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Ostrowski moves into the clinch.
Ostrowski has Henderson pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Henderson is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Ostrowski - that's hurt Henderson badly! Oh, another knee lands and Henderson is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Henderson doesn't seem to be complaining.

Krzysztof Ostrowski decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
